I like to bring quirkiness, warmth, purposeful arrangement, lyrical & melodic conviction and interest to everything I do. I’m a multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitars, keys and vocals), am a lover of the craft of songwriting in all genres and I have an obsession with analog sounds and dusty devices. Especially if they’re a bit weird and perhaps slightly broken.
I’ve had an eclectic and multi-faceted career which has granted me the pleasure of working with Elizabeth M. Drummond, Lili-Violet, Maddy Jane, Katie Wighton, FEELDS, Little May, Merpire, Meiwa, Hannah Blackburn, Julia Jacklin, The Voice TV Show, Olivia Mae, Matthew McMahon, Coby DeMaria Three Associating Podcast, Cardinia Shire Council, my own projects Bad Pony & jarry and many, many more.
My production approach is tailored to creating a comfortable, creative, kind, supportive and inclusive environment for artists. I find that’s the best way to connect with people and it also allows artists to perform and create at their best. I’m also highly collaborative and love to make music that everybody in the room feels completely invested in whether we’re working on raucous, bogan-tinged punk or stripped back, minimalist soul-pop.
In my studio I have the capacity to record live drums, guitars, keys, piano, vocal ensembles, pianorgan….. you name it, we can probably do it! I’m also flexible with recording spaces and have a couple of studios I like using for bigger projects.
